Watershed Hydrology Lab

I am a research scientist in the Aquatic Research and Monitoring Section, Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Adjunct Professor in the Environmental & Life Sciences Graduate Program, Trent University, Peterborough, Ontario. My research program focuses on watershed hydrology and streamflow analysis to support policy development and the implementation of programs related to the sustainable management of Ontario's natural resources. I am particularly interested in ways to increase public water literacy. Not only is water life, but we are all connected to water for aesthetic, spiritual, recreational, or public safety (floods and droughts) reasons yet how many people are aware of the state of our water resources and the changes we are seeing in our changing climate? Thus, I am interested in developing ways to make information on water resources more accessible and meaningful to heighten public interest. This website provides information on my Lab's research activities and access to resources that have been developed through our work.
